NVIDIA B300 reaches the open rental market: first measured spot prices

July 17, 2026 · TKX

The NVIDIA B300 — the Blackwell Ultra part — is now rentable on the open spot market, and TKX measures it directly. As of July 17, 2026, the TKX-GI international leg prints B300 at $6.94/hr (288 GB configuration). No press release, no broker quote: a price read programmatically from a public rental marketplace, refreshed with every collector run.

The eight-card ladder, measured

TKX-GI's international leg now covers eight data-center and prosumer cards. The prints below are from July 17, 2026 (median-style spot rates; sources: Vast.ai public API, RunPod public GraphQL — the lower of secure/community tiers):

GPUSpot rent · USD/hrSource
B300 (288 GB)$6.94runpod
B200$7.44vast
H200$3.87vast
H100 NVL$2.62vast
H100 SXM$2.27vast
A100 SXM4$1.00vast
RTX 5090$0.43vast
RTX 4090$0.38vast

A domestic (China) leg tracks the same market from the other side — e.g. RTX 4090 at ¥2.18/hr — so the index has a token leg and two GPU legs. Live values and daily history: /api/v1/indices.json.

What the early prints say

What a rental price is not

A spot rental price is not a hardware purchase price. Purchase pricing for parts like the B300 remains quote-driven and opaque — there is no free, real-time, verifiable source for it, so TKX does not publish one. When we cannot measure something, we say so rather than estimate. (Our standing rule: measurement, not claims.)
